Carolina Latch Company is a locksmith dispatch service. When you call (803) 784-4882 or send a request on this site, we take your details and send a local partner locksmith.

The partner locksmith is an independent business. They do the work, and the work is between you and them.

Calls and requests

Calls to (803) 784-4882 are answered by Hollis, our AI dispatcher, not a person. Hollis takes your name, phone number, where you are and what you need, and passes them on so a locksmith can be arranged.

A call or a request is a request for help, not a booking. We cannot promise that a locksmith is available for every request or every location. If we cannot arrange someone, we will tell you.

Pricing

Ask about pricing when you call. Do not agree to any work until you are happy with what you have been told.

Your part

Only ask us to open, rekey or change a lock on a home, car or business that is yours, or that you have the owner's permission to open. The locksmith may ask you to show who you are and that you live there, own the car or run the business, and may refuse the job if you cannot.

Give us a correct name, phone number and location, so the locksmith can find you and reach you.

If anyone is in danger, a child or a pet is locked in a hot car, or there is a fire or a break-in in progress, call 911 first.
